Catwalk for Cancer will transform Geelong Football Clubs home ground, Simonds Stadium’s new Brownlow stand into a runway as local designers showcase their spring collection for guests to see. Included in the show is a Young Designer Competition, which allows aspiring designers to have models walk the runway in their designs to be judged by a panel of celebrities, stylists and designers with the chance to win some fantastic prizes. This is set to be the most exciting event on the Geelong social calendar.
Proceeds from Westfield Geelong’s Catwalk for Cancer are gifted directly to Barwon Health’s Andrew Love Cancer Centre. 2,394 people in our region are diagnosed with cancer each year and 197 people are treated in the Andrew Love Cancer Centre Chemotherapy Day ward each week, as well as 600 Medical outpatient appointments. However, each patient is an individual. With an individual treatment plan and chemotherapy made especially for them by the Andrew Love Cancer Centre Pharmacy. The Andrew Love Cancer Centre Pharmacy supplies over 16,500 products per year for patients treated at Barwon Health.
